Some possible risks of breast lift surgery are infection, bleeding, poor scarring, loss of sensation, or loss of nipple and areola. These are rare and can be prevented or treated by Dr. Shah and his team.
To find out if you have breast sag, try this simple test: Stand in front of a mirror and place a pencil under your breast crease. If your nipple and areola are below the pencil, you have breast sag. If they are above the pencil, you don’t.

What does breast lift surgery involve?
Breast lift is a surgery that takes about two and a half hours and is done under general anesthesia. You will go home the same day and recover for about a month. You will need to wear a support bra and follow Dr. Shah’s instructions.
Will I have scars from breast lift surgery?
Yes, you will have some scars on the front of your breasts. The scars will depend on the type and extent of your breast sag. They will fade over time and become less noticeable. Dr. Shah and his staff will give you tips on how to reduce your scarring.
